- Presentation of the “Vanités Rereading” project, LOFO by JHANO, March 12, 2022 at La Gespe (Tarbes).

March 12 marks the start of the LOFOFORA group's tour which highlights their new Album: "Vanities".

Inspired and touched by this work, JHANO illustrated 12 titles. Since March 1, he has revealed one work per day via social networks. All of the originals (ink on paper 50x65 cm) will be available for sale on this site after March 12. LOFOFORA fans will have the pleasure of discovering some of these works (physically) during the first concert of their tour in Tarbes. In collaboration with LOFOFORA, JHANO has also produced limited edition reproductions (21x15 cm). These will be on sale at the band's stand at all concerts on the tour.

Lofofora and her fans, it's a great and long love story. Their music has been with them for many years, like a good friend, like a compass when they get lost, like a crutch when they get hurt, like a good bowl of comfort. These are both lyrics of great power, carried by a deep voice and musicians of breathtaking energy. Since 1989, Lofofora has illuminated the French rock-metal scene with their humanity and generosity.

It was in 2009 that the artist Jhano collaborated for the first time with the group during the project "Music on my mind". Since then, a friendly, artistic and musical bond has continued to be forged between them.

Jhano pays them a visual tribute here, illustrating 12 of their titles in ink.

The album Vanités deeply moved and marked Jhano who, thanks to it, was able to put words to the void left by the disappearance of loved ones.
